Look at your desktop. No, not on your computer screen, on your desk. Probably a lot of you will see a couple of frames with pictures of loved ones. You can now benefit from viewing shared pictures within My KoffeePhoto Frame on your Netvibes desktop.
If you run Netvibes, you can now display your pictures within the Netvibes personalized start page using the first edition of the My KoffeePhoto Frame. While album RSS feeds previously allowed you to track changes on albums, My KoffeePhoto Frame allows you to display a reduced size slide-show of pictures randomly selected from your KoffeePhoto photo albums. Download and install the widget, enter your KoffeePhoto login information, specify which type of albums to display and off you go! Of course, at any time, you can access the album of the picture displayed.
My KoffeePhoto Frame widget for Netvibes can be installed directly or from the Netvibes Ecosystem. For immediate start-up, a demo mode is included. To display your own pictures, you will need to run the KoffeePhoto desktop edition and create your own account.

When we started development of KoffeePhoto photo sharing in early 2005, a mobile phone based client was already an obvious milestone on our product development roadmap. Today, we are proud to present a preview of future KoffeePhoto mobile photo sharing.
We believe it is now the perfect time for such kind of applications as the combination of 3G/3G+ phones capable of high wireless data throughput and QVGA displays makes running photo sharing applications on mobile phones a reality.

KoffeePhoto mobile photo sharing allows KoffeePhoto users to access and share photo albums on their mobile phone. Storage is free and unlimited thanks to KoffeePhoto’s unique private distributed storage technology. Photo albums are available anytime anywhere. Pictures can be viewed interactively or using full screen streamed slide-shows. The size of the screen is automatically detected in order to maximize the display and optimize the file download.
While the applet runs well with a GPRS/EDGE connection, a 3G(UMTS)/3G+(HSDPA) or WiFi connection is recommended for an optimal user experience.
The functions currently implemented allow you to browse your photo albums. Some more features will be available soon and can already be viewed in the menu entries.
Available as a J2ME application (a small Java mobile application), KoffeePhoto mobile can be easily installed on a wide variety of mobile phones and converging PDAs. It can be downloaded from: koffeephoto.com/mobile. A demo mode is included. To display your own pictures, you will need to run the KoffeePhoto desktop edition and create your account. KoffeePhoto mobile can also be tested on your computer using the mPowerPlayer phone emulator (follow this link).
No need to mention that your feedback is welcome. Please write to mobile@koffeephoto.com.

This new version includes a couple of fixes and optimizations. Nothing to write a long post about.
As usual, the software will update itself automatically. Nothing to do, nothing to worry about.
