Just started using KoffeePhoto, and I really like it. But there are two important  things that are missing, that I think shouldn't be too hard for you to implement, but should be a high priority.
First is video support - I want to store videos taken on my camera alongside the photos. I'd be fine if it just showed the filename, and opened them in an external video player, but having thumbnails as well would be ideal.
Second is cropping - there's all these photo editing tools built in to KoffeePhoto but one thing that I'd always expect but which isn't there is a cropping tool. This is very very important in my opinion, and I think you should get one of these in ASAP.</description>
