I suppose the motivation for the deceptive software developers is to make money by claiming (or at least implying) that their software will somehow grant illegal access to KoffeePhoto’s Premium services, which is impossible. People will use any sort of lie to make money. Or is their software free? At any rate, it’s quite ironic, and makes no sense for anyone to use, as you pointed out!:)

What ever their motivation is, using third party software makes here absolutely no sense but can also be dangerous as their editors may capture personnal login information or use the software as a Trojan to infect computers.
And as you said, management of KoffeePhoto Premium is handled on the server side, there is no way a third party software can provide an access to this storage option.
